CANTON, OH – Jane Timken, candidate for U.S. Senate, announced Saturday that her campaign surpassed 200,000 voter contacts. This new voter contact milestone comes after today’s Super Saturday ‘Day of Action’ where volunteers hit over 20,000 voter contacts in a single day, highlighting the campaign’s early and robust organizational muscle. In April, Timken became the first 2022 campaign in the state and country to launch direct voter contact efforts and continues to be the only U.S. Senate candidate in the race with a substantial ground game effort and the only campaign with boots on the ground in all 88 Ohio Counties.
“My America First message is resonating with voters all across the state as we talk to Ohioans on the phones and at the doors about the issues that matter,” said Timken. “With an unmatched ground game, statewide support in all 88 counties, and a conservative record of results, momentum continues to show that I am the America First, grassroots’ choice for Ohio.”
Timken made stops today in Cincinnati, Columbus and Canton to rally volunteers.
This impressive voter contact milestones comes on the heels of last week’s announcement of 108 Timken County Chairs in all 88 Ohio Counties and a large ‘Day of Action’ on Saturday. This focus on the ground game comes as no surprise as Timken’s tenure as Party Chair was marked by an early investment in the grassroots and a focus on the fundamentals: knocking on doors and making phone calls. Timken oversaw the largest grassroots effort in Ohio history with over 13 million voter contacts made for President Trump and Republicans across the ballot that contributed to Ohio’s strong Republican showing on election night 2020.
In addition to being the only U.S. Senate candidate focused on building the ground game operation needed to win, Timken is the only candidate with a network of grassroots Ohio Republicans behind her. Over 130 elected conservative leaders across Ohio have endorsed Jane Timken for Senate, dwarfing the coalition of any of her opponents.
