Jane Timken for U.S. Senate Statement on Arizona Audit Report

Candidate Calls for Full Forensic Audit, Pledges to Protect Election Integrity

September 24, 2021

CANTON, OH – Jane Timken, candidate for the U.S. Senate in Ohio, released the following statement on the Arizona audit report.

“The Arizona Audit proves that there were serious and rampant irregularities in the 2020 election, including over 50,000 illegal ballots in Maricopa County, in a state that is separated by just 10,000 votes. These discrepancies are deeply troubling as to the integrity of our elections and demand action, which is why the Arizona Senate must demand a full forensic audit and statewide canvass and not pass the buck. Arizonans, like all Americans, deserve to have their votes counted and participate in fair elections where the outcome isn’t skewed. It is vital that only election results based on legal votes are certified.

Election integrity is rightly a top concern for millions of Americans across the country, and as Ohio’s Senator I pledge to protect the integrity of America’s ballot box.

As Party Chair, I worked hand in hand with President Donald Trump’s campaign to recruit an army of poll watchers and lawyers to make sure our election was done right, and proudly helped deliver an 8.5+ victory for President Trump in Ohio.

It is absolutely critical that we investigate every instance of fraud, restore confidence in our elections, and get to the bottom of every legal vote in the 2020 election.”

Jane Timken Surpasses Half a Million Voter Contacts On Statewide Super Saturday

Over 30,000 Voter Contacts Made in Today’s Day of Action

September 25, 2021

CANTON, OH – Jane Timken, candidate for U.S. Senate, announced Saturday that her campaign surpassed 500,000 voter contacts cycle to date. This voter contact milestone comes after today’s Super Saturday ‘Day of Action’ where hundreds of volunteers across the state made over 30,000 voter contacts in a single day, including nearly 10,000 doors, highlighting the campaign’s robust organizational muscle and network of support.

“This race is about Ohio, which is why I am focused on sharing my America First message directly with Ohioans every day,” said Timken.  “Voters want someone that will show up, listen to their concerns, and fight for their families, and that is exactly what I will do as Ohio’s next United States Senator. We are in a fight for the soul of our nation and with the help of our grassroots conservative army, we will take back our country, starting with a win in 2022.”

Timken made stops today in Columbus, Athens and Cincinnati to rally volunteers.

In April, Timken became the first 2022 campaign in the state and country to launch direct voter contact efforts and continues to be the only U.S. Senate candidate in the race with a substantial ground game effort, boots on the ground in all 88 Ohio Counties, individual donor support in all 88 counties, and over 160 endorsements from Ohio elected leaders.

This focus on the ground game comes as no surprise as Timken’s tenure as Party Chair was marked by an early investment in the grassroots and a focus on the fundamentals: knocking on doors and making phone calls. Timken oversaw the largest grassroots effort in Ohio history with over 13 million voter contacts made for President Trump and Republicans across the ballot that contributed to Ohio’s strong Republican showing on election night 2020.

U.S. Senate Candidate Jane Timken and Best-Selling Author Vivek Ramaswamy Fight the “Woke” Education Agenda with Local Moms

September 16, 2021

CANTON, OH – U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken has been a leading voice on combating the Left’s overreach and indoctrination agenda in our schools and has made this a central pillar of her campaign. As part of this fight, Jane was joined last night by New York Times best-selling author Vivek Ramaswamy for a conversation on fighting back against Critical Race Theory and the “woke” education agenda taking over our schools.

The pair was also joined by two local moms, Andrea Gross and Amy Gonzalez, who have made national headlines for their fight against Critical Race Theory in Columbus.

“To save our country, we must first save our schools,” said Timken. “The Left’s education agenda doubles down on ‘wokeism’ while watering down the pursuit of a good education. As a mom and Ohio’s next Senator, I refuse to let the liberal Left turn our schools into laboratories for indoctrination and anti-American ideals.”

Speaking to area parents and concerned Ohioans, Timken and Ramaswamy’s shared message was this: speak up, demand transparency and accountability, and get in the fight to restore patriotism and true civic education in our schools.

U.S. Senate Candidate Jane Timken Opposes Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther’s Impending Mask Mandate

September 8, 2021

CANTON, OH – U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken released the following statement opposing Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther’s impending executive order on mandatory masking:

“Mayor Ginther’s decision to reimpose the mask mandate sends the exact wrong message to Ohioans. The vast majority of Americans have done everything asked of them over the last year and a half for the supposed promise of a return to normalcy, only to be met with endless mandates and new restrictions. What message does it send to Ohioans on the fence about getting vaccinated if they still must wear a mask after doing so? We should heed the information, science and data that we have learned over the last 17 months that show one-size-fits-all mandates do not work. I am strongly opposed to this mandate that is yet another display of Democrat government overreach in the era of the COVID pandemic.”

ICYMI: War Room Pandemic: The left’s latest woke attack on faith

September 8, 2021

War Room Pandemic
September 8, 2021
By Jane Timken, candidate for U.S. Senate

“Shame on Harvard.

It’s a sentiment I’ve often said over the years as I’ve watched my alma mater become a bastion of liberal politics and an epicenter for the “woke” culture war waging in America today.

Yes, I went to Harvard University – though they pretend I don’t exist because I am a conservative woman. But Harvard was where I experienced my first taste of East-coast elitism – people who looked down on Ohio and the Heartland because we are “different” from them.

I wasn’t proud of my alma mater when they removed a fellow strong conservative woman and Harvard alumna, Elise Stefanik, from its Institute of Politics advisory panel.

I wasn’t proud when Harvard students filed a petition to ban Trump administration alums from speaking or teaching at the school.

I wasn’t proud when Harvard instituted an overreaching vaccine mandate for all campus members this Fall.

But I am outraged at the latest jaw-dropping move from Harvard that represents an attack on faith and religion in America.

Harvard’s new President of Chaplains is a devout atheist. Not only is this in complete contradiction of the university’s founding, it represents the leftward lurch our universities and institutions have undergone in America, led by the radical Left’s secular revolution.

Of course, Harvard cites their reasoning as one of “inclusion” for the student body – a word that has come to represent the Left’s march toward monolithic thought in the name of their preferred “diversity.”

In fact, a Harvard Crimson survey of the class of 2019 found that nearly 40 percent of students identified as atheists or agnostic, and nearly two thirds identified as ‘somewhat or very liberal.’ This is no coincidence. As Harvard and other elitist institutions cower and cave to the woke Left, they are creating a secularized student body that is void of any diversity of thought.

There is of course a place for community leaders and mentors that does not have to be religious – but the term “chaplain,” by definition, is religious. And at a time when young people are just embarking on their own independent journey, we should be doubling down on faith, not encouraging them to drift away from it.

My faith has been deeply important to me throughout my life. I am a proud Catholic, unabashedly pro-life, and rely on prayer to help navigate life’s stormier waters.

The Left’s open opposition to religion speaks volumes about the direction today’s Democrat Party is headed: hostility to voluntary prayer in public school or homeschooling that tends to lean Christian, efforts to repeal the Hyde Amendment and force pro-life Christians to pay for abortions, the secularization of Christmas, the desire to remove “God” from the Pledge of Allegiance, or even their outright denunciation of “God” in the DNC Party platform.

It’s no secret the coastal leftists and media elite often look down on the Heartland of America where families still like to go to Church on Sunday, say a prayer before family dinner, or consult their Bible for prayer. They view this as antiquated or old-fashioned – or even “deplorable.” People who “cling to guns or religion,” as former President Obama said it. But these are the things that make America strong.

As a Christian, a conservative, and a U.S. Senate candidate, I will always stand for your First Amendment right to worship freely and as you choose. This is fundamental and God-given. But I also strongly believe we should speak out against this “wokeism” that is eroding our societal values of faith and freedom.

Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian values, and we need to get back to those faith-based principles. I’m certain our country would be better for it.”

U.S. Senate Candidate Jane Timken Endorses Constitutional Amendment to Keep Supreme Court at Nine Justices

September 8, 2021

Calls on Tim Ryan to Answer Where He Stands

CANTON, OH – U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken endorsed the “Keep Nine” amendment today, a constitutional amendment that would keep the number of Supreme Court Justices at the traditional nine. The intent of this amendment is to ban court packing and preserve the independence of the Supreme Court, an issue that is continuously under attack from the radical Left.

“Democrats’ endless pursuit of power and desire to radically transform our country must be stopped,” said Timken. “As Ohio’s next United States Senator, I will proudly stand for judicial independence and a court that is not swayed by partisan shifts, but stands firm in the Constitution and rule of law as our Founding Fathers intended.”

In light of growingcallsfrom the Left to pack the Supreme Court, Jane Timken also calls on her likely Democrat opponent, Tim Ryan, to answer unequivocally the question he has long dodged:

Does Tim Ryan support Democrat efforts to expand the Supreme Court?

“Tim Ryan has already proved he’s a reliable rubber stamp for Democrat power grabs including abolishing the filibuster and voting in favor of D.C. statehood,” said Timken. “While Ryan dodges and hides on court packing, Ohio voters deserve to know: does he support Democrat efforts to pack the Supreme Court? Any answer besides ‘no’ is an attack on Ohioans’ God-given Constitutional rights.”
