December 21, 2021

Over 170 Endorsements for America First, Grassroots Candidate

CANTON, OH – U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken is proud to announce the endorsement today of various law enforcement officials across Ohio. Timken has made supporting Ohio’s police officers a key tenet of her campaign.

“I will fiercely and unapologetically support Ohio’s police officers and law enforcement officials,” said Timken. “These brave men and women help ensure Ohio’s communities are safe, because without safe communities, you can’t have good schools or thriving businesses. I will fight tooth and nail against Democrat’s shameful defund the police policies that have led to a surge in violent crime and instead, be a partner for law enforcement and DEFEND Ohio’s police officers.”

Full list of today’s endorsements:
Dewey Stokes – Former President of the National Fraternal Order of Police
Matt Treglia, Allen County Sheriff
Don Roberts – Former Police Officer
Adrian King – Director of Greene County Public Defenders Office
Cynthia J. Bieghler, Retired Metro Parks Ranger

“At a time when our profession is being demonized, officers are demoralized, and political leaders wrongly talk about defunding the police, Jane Timken is proudly running a pro-police and pro-law and order campaign. Jane understands that police officers are crucial to protecting our communities and keeping Ohioans safe, and I trust that she will support us in that mission. We need more leaders like Jane Timken and I’m proud to back her in her campaign for Senate.” – Matt Treglia, Allen County Sheriff

“Too often we have political leaders that like to talk, not listen. Jane Timken has been the only candidate in this race to actually spend time listening to police officers, understanding what it is they need, and advocating for law enforcement. I am endorsing Jane Timken because I know she doesn’t just pay lip service to law enforcement, but will be a strong advocate and partner for police officers and first responders all across Ohio.” – Cynthia J. Bieghler, Retired Metro Parks Ranger

These endorsements join the following Ohioans working in or focused on law enforcement who have already endorsed Timken:

Joe Deters – Hamilton County Prosecutor
Matt Crall – Crawford County Prosecutor
Brian McLaughlin – Columbiana County Sheriff
Cindy Abrams – State Representative and Former Police Officer

The growing slate of over 170 grassroots endorsements from Ohio conservatives and Governor Kristi Noem adds to an already robust field program, with well over 750,000 voter contacts made. Timken also is the only candidate with a statewide infrastructure and individual donor support in all 88 counties, highlighting Timken’s grassroots appeal as the clear consensus candidate. Learn more about Jane Timken and her campaign for U.S. Senate HERE.
