Mike Gibbons and Josh Mandel Have Proven They Can’t Beat Tim Ryan

CANTON, OH – U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken’s campaign launched the following ad, “Grit and Grace,” highlighting Jane’s leadership in stark contrast to Josh Mandel and Mike Gibbons’ embarrassing antics that put Ohio’s Republican Senate seat in danger of losing to Tim Ryan.

Jane Timken: “You’ve got a choice in this race. Who do you trust to fight for the America First agenda? Well as you’ve seen, we’ve got a lot of show horses in this race. But I’m a workhorse. If you want someone who leads with grit and grace and gets things done then I’m your candidate.”

The ad continues by highlighting Gibbons’ sexist worldview that was on display during this week’s debate: 

Mike Gibbons: “Jane Timken. Best I know before she became Deputy Chair of the Stark County Republican Party. Barely worked.”

Debate Moderator, Colleen Marshall: “Do you believe that women in this country have never been oppressed?”

Mike Gibbons: “I think when they weren’t allowed to vote they were probably oppressed.” (remarks continue)

Jane Timken: “This is an example of the arrogance of Mike Gibbons…Look women have a voice and I’m a mom on a mission to take our country back.
We need leaders like me who understand the plight of families, who’ve been fighting in the trenches for the America First agenda.”

Voiceover: “Jane Timken is the Trump conservative who can beat Tim Ryan.”
