U.S. Senate Candidate Jane Timken Brings in $1 Million in Final Primary Fundraising Haul

April 15, 2022

CANTON, OH – Today, U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken announced that she raised $1 million from donors in the first quarter of 2022 between her campaign committee and JFA. This strong fundraising haul is the result of continued support on the ground from Ohio’s grassroots and shows the power of Senator Rob Portman’s endorsement which got many Ohio donors off the sidelines. Timken continues to dominate the field in Ohio fundraising with over 80% of dollars CTD coming from in state.

“This race is about who can be trusted to advance the America First agenda and beat Tim Ryan,” said Timken. “I am the strongest candidate in this field who has been there for the grassroots, has delivered for the America First agenda, and who can defeat Democrats in November with our country on the line. With just 18 days to go, we will continue to travel every corner of the state and deliver my record of unmatched leadership to Ohio voters until we cross the finish line on May 3 as the Republican nominee.”

New internal polling released last week shows Timken tied in 2nd place with the race wide open, despite being outspent by millions from her opponents. As the grassroots candidate, Timken has the endorsement of over 200 conservative leaders and activists across the state, has donations from all 88 Ohio counties, and is the only candidate doing significant voter contact efforts ahead of the May 3rd election with over 1.4 million voter contacts made.
