U.S. Senate Candidate Jane Timken Announces “Mom on a Mission” Tour for Final Homestretch

35 Events Statewide in Final 12 Days of Campaign

April 18, 2022

CANTON, OH – U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken announced today the “Mom on a Mission” tour, a statewide slate of campaign events in the closing days of the primary campaign. Kicking off Thursday in Columbiana County, the “Mom on a Mission” tour will include 35 events in the final 12 days and will touch on major themes of the campaign: protecting American Jobs, securing the Southern Border, and empowering Parents’ Rights in education.

“I’m a mom on a mission to take our country back and fight for American jobs, stronger borders, and parents’ rights in education so our children’s future is secure,” said Timken. “In this final homestretch of the campaign, I’ll be sharing my grassroots’ work-ethic, results-driven record, and unmatched America First leadership to voters in every corner of the state until we cross the finish line as the Republican Nominee on May 3rd.”

Throughout this campaign, no candidate has worked harder or engaged Ohio’s grassroots more. After putting over 150,000 miles on her car and visiting all 88 Ohio counties to support President Trump and conservatives as Party Chair, Jane has kept up her road warrior status as a candidate, hosting or attending over 250 political events throughout Ohio’s 88 counties.

Jane has unmatched grassroots support in the state and is the only candidate with ‘Timken County Chairs’ and individual donor support in all 88 Ohio counties, more Ohio dollars raised than any other candidate, and more Ohio supporters than all other candidates combined. In addition, Jane has the
endorsement of over 200 Ohio conservative leaders, far outpacing the rest of the field. In the closing days, Jane will activate this grassroots army to spread her message and turn voters out to the polls.

Jane Timken Dominates Final Fundraising Quarter in Ohio Support

Only Candidate in Field with Consistent Statewide Base of Support

April 16, 2022

CANTON, OH – In the final fundraising numbers ahead of the primary, U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken dominated the rest of the field in terms of actual support from Ohioans who get to vote in the election. Jane by FAR has the most Ohio donors with over 1,000 Ohio supporters this quarter alone. Once again, more people in Ohio contributed to her than all other campaigns combin

  • JD Vance had only 201 people in Ohio contribute to him. More than double his donors came from out of state.
  • Josh Mandel had almost 3x as many people from outside of the state give to him than from Ohio.
  • Mike Gibbons is not raising any money at all. He raised just $112,000 and continues to rely on his own wallet.
  • Matt Dolan is not showing any substantial support from Ohioans, despite claiming to fill an Ohio void. He had only 123 people who contributed to him and like Gibbons, is relying on personal wealth to run this race, not Ohioans.

“While out of state billionaires and DC special interests prop up my opponents’ campaigns, I am proud to fueled by the people who actually live, work and raise their families in Ohio,” said Timken. “Ohio’s grassroots know that I am the leader who has been there for them and the conservative movement and I am honored to have their continued support.”

Analysis of Ohio donors based on Q1 reports:

Timken’s unmatched Ohio support buoys a best-in-the-country ground game with 1.4 million voter contacts made and over 200 endorsements from Ohio elected leaders.

U.S. Senate Candidate Jane Timken Brings in $1 Million in Final Primary Fundraising Haul

April 15, 2022

CANTON, OH – Today, U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken announced that she raised $1 million from donors in the first quarter of 2022 between her campaign committee and JFA. This strong fundraising haul is the result of continued support on the ground from Ohio’s grassroots and shows the power of Senator Rob Portman’s endorsement which got many Ohio donors off the sidelines. Timken continues to dominate the field in Ohio fundraising with over 80% of dollars CTD coming from in state.

“This race is about who can be trusted to advance the America First agenda and beat Tim Ryan,” said Timken. “I am the strongest candidate in this field who has been there for the grassroots, has delivered for the America First agenda, and who can defeat Democrats in November with our country on the line. With just 18 days to go, we will continue to travel every corner of the state and deliver my record of unmatched leadership to Ohio voters until we cross the finish line on May 3 as the Republican nominee.”

New internal polling released last week shows Timken tied in 2nd place with the race wide open, despite being outspent by millions from her opponents. As the grassroots candidate, Timken has the endorsement of over 200 conservative leaders and activists across the state, has donations from all 88 Ohio counties, and is the only candidate doing significant voter contact efforts ahead of the May 3rd election with over 1.4 million voter contacts made.

Jane Timken Launches New Broadcast TV Ad Combating Biden’s “Runaway Inflation”

April 13, 2022

No Balanced Budget, No Paycheck for Congress
CANTON, OH – As part of the campaign’s seven-figure broadcast TV buy, U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken launched a new ad, titled “Runaway Inflation.”

“Joe Biden’s runaway inflation is a hidden tax on every Ohio family,” said Timken. “Rising costs are the number one issue on Ohioans’ minds, and in the U.S. Senate, I’ll govern like a true fiscal conservative so that my kids and your kids aren’t saddled with Washington’s spending mistakes for decades to come.”

Watch Timken’s new television ad HERE

 The script reads:
“Joe Biden’s wasteful spending has sent prices skyrocketing.
Now everything from groceries, to gas, and meals with our families cost more.

I’m Trump conservative Jane Timken.

In the Senate, I’ll stop Biden’s socialist agenda and runaway inflation.

It’s time for Congress to Balance the Budget, just like families in Ohio do.
If the politicians don’t Balance the Budget, they shouldn’t get paid.

No Balanced Budget, no Paycheck.

I’m Jane Timken and I approved this message.”
This ad will begin Wednesday and is a continuation of the seven-figure buy running on broadcast in Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Dayton, while also appearing on Fox News in those markets and in Youngstown.

Timken boasts an impressive roster of supporters including endorsements from U.S. Senator Rob Portman, 180 Ohio elected officials, Senators Joni Ernst, Shelley Moore Capito and Deb Fischer, House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, and conservative women’s groups VIEWPAC, Maggie’s List, and Winning for Women. Timken also has the support of Former Trump Campaign Manager and White House Senior Counselor Kellyanne Conway, and Former Trump campaign team Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie.

ICYMI: Newsmax: In a Field of Buckeye State Pretenders, Timken Is the Real Deal

April 12, 2022

Op-ed by Bernard Kerik, former NYPD Commissioner

“In the Ohio Senate primary, there’s a clash of self-proclaimed MAGA candidates all clamoring for the Trump, America First mantle. However, it only takes a closer look to see who are pretenders, and who’s the real deal.

Jane Timken is the only true MAGA conservative in Ohio who has been there for President Trump and the America First movement since 2016 and all the way through, to the present day.

President Trump rightfully recognized that Ohio needed a change of leadership, so he hand-picked Jane Timken, a staunch conservative and strong leader, to take on and oust the Kasich regime. Jane Timken did just that. She then unified the Ohio Republican Party to become one of the strongest in the nation and helped turn Ohio into the pro-Trump, MAGA stronghold it is today.

In 2020, when other states didn’t do the necessary work to make sure elections were safe and secure, Jane Timken did, and Ohio delivered by more than 8.5 points for President Trump — an increased margin from 2016.

While other candidates in this race, especially Josh Mandel, love to talk about the 2020 election because they know it’s what President Trump wants to hear, my question to them is: where were they when it mattered?

When the legal team was looking for assistance in Ohio and Mandel was called, he ignored us. Mandel refused to return the call, but Jane Timken led the effort.

A closer look into the caricature that is Josh Mandel, the already twice-failed Senate contender, shows that Mandel was Marco Rubio’s top guy in Ohio and wouldn’t even say President Trump’s name during the RNC Convention in Cleveland.

Yet, when it suited him in his Senate bid in 2018, the past establishment toting Kasich-Romney-Rubio career politician became full-throated MAGA to try and bait and switch the Ohio people. Yet when he quit the Senate race in 2018, he was nowhere to be found for President Trump when it really mattered.

Not in 2018, not in 2019, not in 2020.

Not during either of President Trump’s baseless impeachment witch-hunts.

Not when President Trump was passing historic trade deals for Ohio workers.

Not when Ohio needed surrogates on the campaign trail.

Not anywhere. Mandel was anti-Trump then, and is faking it today.

J.D. Vance’s anti-Trump history is well-documented.

He has called the MAGA movement “racist,” “uneducated,” and “Godless.”

He has said President Trump is an “idiot.”

He even voted for Evan McMullin over President Trump in 2016. Now some say he should be forgiven for having a change of heart, but I believe the MAGA movement needs someone who recognized early on that workers were being forgotten, Ohioans were being left behind, and America was being cheated by China — not a convert who jumped on the bandwagon.

Mike Gibbons, the candidate spending $11 million of his own money to try and buy Ohio’s Senate seat after he lost the Senate primary in 2018, is attempting to portray himself in President Trump’s businessman-mold, yet lacks all of the charisma and agility of what MAGA is all about, and demands.

Just this week, new evidence showed that Gibbons said the middle class “doesn’t pay any kind of a fair share” in taxes. Raising taxes is the antithesis of MAGA.

Last you have Matt Dolan, who really doesn’t even deserve a closer look.

His anti-Life, anti-2nd Amendment policies belong on the Democratic Party ballot, not on the GOPs, and President Trump has already blasted him for bowing to the woke mob and changing his family’s baseball team, the Cleveland Indians, to the Cleveland Guardians.

In Ohio, the choice is clear. Jane Timken has shown the dedication, consistency, and fighter spirit that the MAGA movement is about. She will win against Democrats in November and she will be a fantastic next America First, United States senator.”

U.S. Senate Candidate Jane Timken Condemns Joe Biden’s Nomination of Steve Dettelbach to Lead the ATF

April 11, 2022

CANTON, OH – U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken released the following statement:
“The nomination of Steve Dettelbach to lead the ATF is an affront to Americans’ 2nd Amendment rights. Dettelbach is an anti-gun activist who has endorsed gun bans and restrictions on law-abiding gun owners. The Biden Administration already has a troubled pattern of weaponizing its agencies against political opponents, and we cannot allow anti-gun activists to use the power of the ATF to target law-abiding citizens with gun registries and other illegal infringements. As Party Chair in Ohio, I worked with now Attorney General Dave Yost to ensure Dettelbach was defeated in 2018, and as a U.S. Senator, I would work to defeat his nomination to the ATF.

Democrats’ activist nominations and hollow gun bans do nothing to stop crime, and only punish law-abiding gun owners. If Democrats were truly interested in stopping crime and violence, they would secure the border, end their ‘Defund the Police’ nonsense, and arrest, prosecute and punish violent criminals. That’s exactly what I will fight for as Ohio’s next United States Senator to protect our 2nd Amendment rights and stand for law and order.”

U.S. Senate Candidate Jane Timken Blasts Mike Gibbons for Comments that Middle Class “Doesn’t Pay Fair Share”

April 8, 2022

CANTON, OH – U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken released the following statement on Mike Gibbons’ comments that the middle class doesn’t pay “any kind of a fair share.”

“While Mike Gibbons may be able to pour $10 million of his own money into trying to buy a U.S. Senate seat, Ohioans are hurting right now. Democrat policies have resulted in soaring inflation and rising gas prices and the last thing we need to be doing is raising taxes on the middle class. We need elected leaders that understand how to help Ohio families, not ones that seem indifferent to their suffering. These comments are yet another example of why Mike Gibbons would lose to Tim Ryan and hand Ohio’s Senate Seat to Democrats at a time when too much is on the line for our country. Mike Gibbons may think the middle class only exists ‘to win an election,’ but I will always stand up for hardworking Ohio families and the American Dream by cutting taxes, not raising them. Mike Gibbons is wrong for Ohio.”

U.S. Senate Candidate Jane Timken’s Statement on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson

April 7, 2022

CANTON, OH – U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken released the following statement on today’s Senate vote on the nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson:
“One of the most important roles a U.S. Senator has is confirming Judicial appointments, especially lifetime appointments to the U.S. Supreme Court. Judge Jackson’s soft-on-crime sentencing history, her support of Critical Race Theory and abortion, and her refusal to denounce the Leftist power grab to pack the Supreme Court are deeply troubling. I would have voted against Judge Jackson because we need Justices who revere the Constitution and protect our rights guaranteed by God, not activist judges who legislate from the bench.

I was proud to stand alongside President Trump in Ohio as he appointed over 230 Constitutional Judges, including three new Supreme Court Justices, that have reshaped the federal judiciary for decades to come. As Ohio’s next Senator, I will examine every judicial appointment through the lens of their respect for Life, our Liberties, and the Constitution to ensure the independence of the judiciary is protected and our rights are never infringed.”
